Before you attend your first lesson, please ensure that you have received your 

Provisional Driving Licence from the DVLA, as your Instructor is required by law to see it before your training can take place.

During your Beginners lesson, you will be shown how to set up the car to your requirements. Then, using suitably quiet roads, you will be taught how to safely move the car off and stop, learn how to safely steer the car left and right at junctions and start to work on your use of the Mirror Signal Manouvre routine.

To get a Provisional Driving Licence, you will need to complete an application form known as Form D1. This form is available at most Post Offices or you can obtain one from the DVLA website: www.dvla.gov.uk

A new Provisional Licence costs £34* if you apply online or £43* if you apply by post.

If you need to replace the photo card licence, the cost is £20*.
